2026 A TALE OF 2 CHAMPIONS!!
This year's Championship pits the last two Chunk Flex Cup Champions against each other. Vernon Blizzard is looking to repeat as Champion while Sinister Forces is looking to reclaim their title from 2024!
This is the 3rd trip to the Championship for Vernon Blizzard. They were successful in obtaining the Cup in both previous appearances winning it all in 2018 and 2025. Now Vernon Blizzard looks to onbtain their 3rd Chunk Flex Cup Championship!
Sinister Forces is just one Championship behind, winning the Championship in their only other appearance to the big game in 2024! Sinister Forces looks to even the Chsmpionship count with Vernen Blizzard with a Championship win over them!
The head to head matchup is pretty tight historically! Vernon Blizzard enjoy just a 1 game advantage in the regular season with a 10-9 record over Sinister Forces. They also have an advantage in the playoffs winning both of the playoff matchups between these two franchises. This is the first time they meet in the Chsmpionship though with both of the previous matchups coming in the Wild Card round. This season Sinister Forces won the only regular season matchup between these two in the 2025-26 season. Sinister Forces win the matchup way back in week two by just 3 points. The points projection for the matchup is pretty even too. Who will claim the crown between these two previous Champions? This is going to be one to watch!
2025 A TALE OF 2-TWO TIMERS 7 YEARS IN THE MAKING!!
This year, two owners make their 2nd trip to the Chunk Flex Cup. But both teams have two very different stories their first time around!!
Vernon Blizzard has consistently been a contender since 2016-2017 with 5 playoff appearances in 9 years and never finishing below 2nd place within any division since then. In that span of time, they have won 3 Division Championships with 2 of them being Middle Division Championships! But after winning the Chunk Flex Cup in 2018 from the same team they meet now in this years Championship, with the opponent having a different name and owner then, it has proven to be quite a task for the Blizzard to get back to the Championship. Finally after 7 years of fighting to stay one of the top contenders, they have finally gotten over the hump to another opportunity to become Chunk Flex Cup Champion!!
For Bufa-low Expectations it's been a similar story however in their Championship appearance, they came up short a couple of years ago in 2023, losing to Garden State Green. Now just 2 years later, as a wild card team, Bufa-low Expectations has climbed back into the Championship game!
These two teams have been pretty evenly matched through the years. Vernon Blizzard enjoys a slight advantage in the head-to-head record all-time between these two teams historically with an 8-7 record vs the Bufa-low franchise all-time! They are split in the playoffs with the 1 win for Vernon Blizzard being that 2018 Championship. Bufa-low's victory came in the 2023 Divisional Round that sent them to the Championship game that year!
Will Vernon Blizzard with their first title in 7 years or will Bufa-Low Expectations finally get over that hump! It remains to be seen, but it's almost certain to be a very exciting championship game!!

THIS YEAR'S FINALS IS A STORY OF THE LAST 5 YEARS IN CHUNK FLEX CUP PLAYOFFS HISTORY!!
Garden State Green has done it again!! This year's championship game pits the current dynasty team Garden State Green, in their 5th straight Chunk Flex Cup Finals appearance, against Sinister Forces, a team who since taking over in 2018, has been very good and a far cry from the dreadful days of when they were Bordentown Brawlers and Vic Rattleheads! Sinister Forces is in their 5th consecutive year in making the playoffs but has failed to make it to the Championship game up until this year. One of those playoff losses was at the hands of Garden State Green in the divisional round in 2021. Garden State Green advanced to the Finals and won their 2nd consecutive Chunk Flex Cup Championship at that year! That was the only meeting in the playoffs between the these two teams in league history!
Overall, in the lifetime matchup between the two teams, Garden State Green enjoys a 7-3, 1-0, 8-3 advantage over Sinister Forces, but even though Sinister Forces is the #2 seed this year and Garden State Green is the #1 seed, and despite the lifetime records, Sinister Forces is favored on the projected score, making this year's Chunk Flex Cup a very intriguing matchup!
With 5 straight Chunk Flex Cup appearances, and 3 of them being Championship victories, Garden State Green will still be considered the league's first real dynasty either way the game goes, but I'm sure they'd much more prefer it to be considered that with a 4th Championship under their belts. But they face a very hungry team in Sinister Forces who has been slowly building a team over those last five years to build a team like this who seems to be primed for a chamipionship! It's definitly going to be a good Chunk Flex Cup Championship this year! Make sure to follow it!
DO WE HAVE A DYNASTY IN 2023?!?
In the 2023 Championship, Garden State Green is going for a bona fide dynasty!! This is the 4th straight Championship appearance for Garden State Green and with a victory in this championship, will have 3 Championships in 4 seasons and 4 Championships overall, which constitutes a dynasty in my opinion! This won't be easy with a worthy opponent in Bufa-Low Expectations who is going for their 1st Championship. This is the 2nd appearance in a championship for this franchise who lost to Vernon Blizzard in 2018 when Bufa-Low was named Las Vegas Hookers and had a different owner. Garden State Green has the regular season advantage with a lifetime regular season record of 8-4 vs the Bufa-low franchise however, Bufa-low has won the only playoff matchup between the two. It was a 1pt victory that sent Las Vegas Hookers (Bufa-low) to that 2018 Chunk Flex Cup game as the 6 seed. Garden State Green is looking like the favorite in this matchup if you look at the team histories, but Bufa-low Expectations was pretty dominant all season and is in this championship as the lower seed at #2 while Garden State Green finished as the #4 seed. Will we have a dynasty on our hands here? Well, it is predicted to be a pretty tight final so we'll just have to see who comes out on top in this one.
2022 CHAMPIONSHIP IS SET!!!
The 2022 Chunk Flex Cup is a 2020 rematch between the 2015 Champion Orange & Black and 3X Champion Garden State Green!!
Just like in the 2020 Season these two were seeded #1 and #2 in the season and have made the Championship. The only difference is that Orange & Black was the #2 seed last time and has now switched with Garden State Green from there taking the #1 seed in this rematch. This is Garden State Green's 3rd straight Chunk Flex Cup appearance and an attempt at a threepeat!
Head to head in the regular season Garden State Green has a slight edge at 8-6 but they are tied in the playoffs 1-1 with Orange & Black's loss being the 2020 Championship. Orange & Black's playoff win was in the Divisional Round of their 2015 Championship run!
